Restorative/Yoga Nidra with Mark Hunsicker and Christy Mickle Saturday, June 29th 2pm-4:30pm
Join Christy and Mark as they guide you through an afternoon of restoration and relaxation like no other! Open to all levels.
Give yourself the gift of letting go with Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra combined into one class. Christy will use props to facilitate deep relaxation with a handful of restful postures. Mark will guide you through a practice designed to bring forth a deep sense of peace and renewal where your only requirement is to let go to the sounds of music and voice. Both practices will allow the body to heal and replenish itself by stimulating the immune and endocrine systems, lowering the heart rate and blood pressure, and triggering the parasympathetic nervous system, which calms and restores the body. By doing less instead of more, allow your inner healing capacity to activate and uncover the deepest core of yourself, the essential wisdom within. Every level welcome.

Step Out of the Heat and Into the Flow
A Cool & Stress Less Flow Yoga with AnnMarie Mello-Morris
Six-week Course Wednesdays 7:00-8:30pm Starting July 10th -Aug 14th
Step Out of the Heat and Into the Flow is an uplifting, heart inspiring and “just for you” practice held at studio temperature. The seasonal heat and also life-heated stressors could be getting in the way of your own life fulfillment. The following are topics addressed during the course that will assist with your own life practice on and off the mat:
Stress Less & Increase Happiness: Connect with the flow, and other effective techniques that have been researched in the study of happiness
The Five Elements of Nature on the Mat: Use the elements of earth, water, fire, air, and ether as a tool to create nature’s balance in each pose and practice
Pranayama: Integrate the use of prana (life force or breath) exercises to create immediate increase in body strength, flexibility and positivity.
All levels are welcome; however some yoga exposure will be helpful. Join our series that promotes community connection and support between participants and the teacher. If you need to miss a class, we will do our best to inform you as to the yoga topics that you missed so that you will be prepared for the next class. Please keep in mind that it is challenging to actually “make-up” classes; therefore if you do not show up to class you will lose the missed class.
Sound Journey Workshop with Jeremy Arndt Saturday, July 6th 1:30-4:30pm
Join Jeremy Arndt as he bring in instruments from his travels around the world to create a unique 3 hour experience. A sound journey workshop will contain elements of meditation, simple yoga asana, teachings, and sound of the didgeridoo, handpan, meditation bowls, and more to take students on an inward journey. Guests are invited to lie down and relax after the initial meditation and warm-up asana practice. Guests will receive individual sound massages with certain instruments like the didgeridoo and handpan. In order to keep this more personal, class sizes will be limited, depending on the size of the studio, to approximately 10-15 people. Cost is $40 for preregistration by June 30th/$45 after June 30th and at the door.
Evening Concert with Jeremy Arndt Saturday, July 6th 6:30-8:30pm
Bring your blanket, yoga mat, cushion,etc. All are welcome for this night of music. Come in, relax, close your eyes, and let the music take you away!! Jeremy Arndt has journeyed around the world playing and studying different world music traditions.Come and enjoy his beautiful melodies and rhythms! $12 pre-register/$15 at the door/ $20 family price.
Yoga Nidra with Mark Hunsicker…1st & 3rd Saturday each month 12pm-1pm
Come join Mark Hunsicker as he guides you through a Yoga Nidra practice designed to bring forth a deep sense of peace and renewal. This 1-hour class will consist of finding yourself in a supported resting pose, where your only requirement is to let go to the sounds of music and voice. You will be guided through a progressive relaxation, allowing your body/mind/spirit to reach deep states of rejuvenation. Hope to see you there! $12

Restorative Yoga is about learning to relax deeply, residing in stillness, reflection and introspection. In this practice we use blankets, bolsters, cushions, pillows and blocks to completely support the body in restful postures, encouraging the body to relax, open, renew and heal. As the body releases deeply, the mind grows quiet and reflective, bringing your whole being into a more balanced, natural healing state.Restorative yoga is useful when you are fatigued, stressed from daily activities, experiencing major life change events, suffering from stress, cancer, menopause, injury, depression or other challenges or in perfect health but desiring more energy and better and more restful sleep. Restorative yoga is known to improve health, lower blood pressure and cholesterol, improve, sleep and ease anxiety ,stimulate metabolism and boost the immune system, and reduce stress (which is known to be a major contributing factor in over 95% of illness).
