SAGE ROUNDTREE – YOGA FOR ATHLETES WORKSHOP

In this workshop appropriate for all levels of yoga and athletic experience, you’ll learn poses to increase flexibility, especially in the hips and legs; spend some time cultivating sport-specific core strength and playing with balance; and examine yoga as mental training, learning how incorporating this ancient approach can make you a better athlete. No matter what your sport is, you’ll leave with practical ways to incorporate yoga in your training to increase your flexibility, core strength, stability, and physical and mental endurance, while lowering your recovery time and risk of injury.

BIRTH PARTNER WORKSHOP
Saturday, May 12th from 1:30-3:30pm
Bring your spouse, partner, mother, or other labor support person to this
workshop designed to enhance awareness and confidence in pregnancy, labor,
and childbirth. The class focuses on gentle postures that help you find
comfort in labor, the stages of labor and what your partner can do to
support, as well as breath work and guided meditation to relax your body and
quiet your mind.
